While many things have shifted forSerena Williamssince becoming a mom, one of the most prominent has been the way she approaches beauty.
In a new interview withByrdie, the tennis pro, who recently launched a beauty brand, shared that since becoming a mom to daughters Olympia, 6, and Adira, born in August 2023, her relationship with inner and outer beauty has changed.
“The way I talk to myself about beauty has certainly changed throughout my life, and it will continue to evolve,” Williams began.
“Motherhood has allowed me to look at beauty through the eyes of my daughter, Olympia. We’re always experimenting with makeup together, and I think about how these moments will be part of both of our beauty journeys.”

Williams shares her two daughters with husbandAlexis Ohanian.
Elsewhere in the interview, the proud mom was askedwhat has brought her the most happinessin her life. “My kids,” she responded without hesitation. “I can’t say that a Wimbledon trophy holds a candle to volunteering at my kid’s school.”
She also added that as they grow up, “I want my daughters to look at my career and learn that being authentic to themselves is really the most important thing.”
“I also hope my daughters see how many different passions I have — from tennis to beauty — and learn that they can lead dynamic careers and lives across their many interests,” she told the outlet.

The couple appeared to enjoy some special one-on-one time with Olympia as the three of them dressed up as pirates. Williams and Ohanian worked with Olympia to solve a treasure hunt, which included digging on “a deserted island in the Caribbean.”
“A naughty pirate stole a bunch of gifts for Jr and she had to piece together a map, find the buried treasure on a deserted island in the Caribbean, and dig it up. I think we all know who did most of the digging, though,” Ohanian, 40, captioned a photo where he helped his little girl dig.
