Kym and Robert welcomed their son and daughter on April 23. TheShark Tankstar, 56, was already a father of three children from a previous marriage.
Kym made the exciting announcement in a black-and-white Instagram photo that showed her husband carrying both babies in his arms.
“I never thought my heart could feel so full. We’re so in love with our little angels. Born at 7.44am and 7.45am 4/23/18,” the professional dancer wrote in the caption.
“My whole thought on this pregnancy is I’m letting my body do what it needs to do,” she said in April. “After I have the babies, I’ll take my time getting back. I haven’t gained too much weight on my arms or my legs. It does seem to be my belly.”
“Staying fit can be very tricky when you’re pregnant. You’re exhausted all the time so motivating yourself to work out can be difficult,” she admitted in January 2018.
“Personally, my doctor advised me not to exercise at all for the first three months. You can imagine how hard this was for me since I’ve been an active person my whole life,” she said.
The two-time Mirrorball Trophy winner had to rule out jumping and running from her workouts and included prenatal Pilates and dance cardio instead.
“I also do some upper body strength movements, since I don’t want my muscle to turn to flab,” Kym stated.

“I never realized being a mom was so glamorous. My mom gave me some great advice when we came home with the babies which was Keep a good sense of humor,” she said.
Despite the challenges of first time motherhood, Kympreviously told PEOPLEthat she was always certain about one thing.
“I’ve always wanted to be a mom,” she said. “It really is a miracle.”
