The husband ofKim Kardashian Westlastexpressed an interest in running for officeand showed his support for the formerApprenticehost, 72, earlier this month on Twitter, writing, “2024” and “Trump all day.”

The rapper, 41, also tweeted three dragon emojis — West previously said that he and President Trump were“both dragon energy.He is my brother” — and clarified to his followers, “Just so in 2019 you know where I stand.”

West continued his political rant with a few more tweets. “They will not program me,” he wrote.

“Blacks are 90 percent Democrats,” he added. “That sounds like control to me.”

The soon-to-be father of four also sent messages of unity to his followers, including “love everyone” and “free thought.” He then wrote, “We will change the world. God is on my side. I am a Christian. I am a taxpayer. I am myself. God is with us.”

The social media deluge came a little more than two months afterWest said he was taking a break from politics.

In late October, Westtweeted: “My eyes are now wide open and now realize I’ve been used to spread messages I don’t believe in. I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative.”

In another tweet, the Grammy winner wrote: “I would like to thank my family, loved ones, and community for supporting my ACTUAL beliefs and my vision for a better world.”

West had been vocal about hissupport for Trumpfor years, but especially toward the end of 2018.

In October 2018, a source close to West told PEOPLE that the “Gold Digger” musician’s political mindset was unwavering.
