There’s never a red carpet thatJennifer Lopezdoesn’t slay, and the2018 American Music Awardswere no exception.
The pop icon and actress, 49, hit the red carpet in L.A. wearing an electric pink Georges Chakra Couture halter gown with side cut-outs, a thigh-high slit and black velvet detailing, plus matching velvet platform Jimmy Choo heels, a tousled updo and smoky makeup.
“[The dress] was pretty. Pretty color! It fit nice. I just love it,” LopeztoldEntertainment Tonight‘s Keltie Knight on the red carpet. “I feel like it’s soft and it’s a little hard, and it’s kind of like me.”
Meanwhile, for her voluminous updo, hairstylist Chad Wood gave the megastar a little boost at the roots using this power trio: Redken Texture Finishing Spray, ghd Air Hairdryer and ghd Natural Bristle Brush.

The star is scheduled to debut a brand new song from her upcoming movieSecond Act,which hits theaters on Dec. 14, and also also stars Leah Remini, Milo Ventimiglia and Vanessa Hudgens. She teased her performance with a trailer for the film on Instagram earlier Tuesday.
