Police in North Beaver Township , Pennsylvania are scratching their heads right now . Why ? A 50 - foot farseeing , 20 - foot all-encompassing brand bridge just vanish . How ? ostensibly , some very bold criminals just up and stole it .
Stealing a bridge , as you ’d envisage , is a pretty complicated crime . This is n’t some 90 era deception trick people . The local police force surmise that the bridge circuit robbers worked at this for over a month . They presumably used a blow torch to cut the corrugated steel and then somehow moved the man — steel beams and such — to sell for scrap metallic element . That could n’t have been loose as each foot was estimated to weigh hundreds of pounds . But why oh why would you even bother steal a bridge ? Because the fleck metallic element is count on to be $ 100,000 . Oh .
But even sleep with how it befall , I ’m still leave marvel , how does this chance ! ? It ’s a crime that ’s so far out there that no one really knows what from how and who from why . In fact , police force say the bridge went pretermit some prison term between September 27th and October 5th . That ’s a pretty prospicient range for something that adult to go overleap , right ?

And who in the right mind would look at a bridge and go hey , I consider I can take that down . How do they transport it ? Who are they sell it to ? And how derive no one noticed in the first place ? ( this has a more reasonable answer , it ’s deeply in the Sir Henry Wood and the bridgework is an former railroad nosepiece ) . Will they re - build the bridge ? Were the robbers really there for a calendar month ? Are they break down to steal another one ? Is this going to set off a bridge deck stealing gravy ? Hey , I ’d actually like that . lifetime would be more exciting if more Harry Bridges got steal . gazump bridge is the new black . [ WTAE , Image Credit : FLariviere / Shutterstock ]
