Back in May , Gizmodo writer Michael Nunez broke the taradiddle of former Facebook workers who say the site on a regular basis suppressed newsfrom conservative websites . And with today ’s announcement that Facebook will modify its algorithm ( yet again ) to boil down clickbait linkup , it looks like the fellowship might be holding a score about that story andseveral otherswe’verecently write about Facebook . We just wish Facebook could import our name in good order .
Facebook ’s raw algorithm is , according to the company , design to filter out “ clickbait . ” And as Techcrunchpoints out , Facebook used an example of clickbait on its newpublishing best practices pagewith a mocked up web site called “ Gizmotecho.com . ”
TechCrunch speculates that this might be a lightly veil stab at Gizmodo for our coverage of the situation .

Of course , GizmoTecho.com is n’t a existent website . At least it was n’t until we bought it for $ 3 as yetanother digital warehouse for our clickbait trash journalism .
