The good movie always have a dose of indescribable thaumaturgy . A import or concurrence thatcomes together on the setor in redaction that just bring in a scenery to a whole other level . And with a picture as active and original asEverything Everywhere All at Once , you ’d think that happenedmore often than not . It would have to for a movie so brave to work . And that ’s exactly what happened in arguably the film ’s most derisory prospect : magic .
We ’re talking , of course , aboutthe hot dog universe . Yes , that one shining multiverse where human beings evolve to have red-hot dogs for finger — and , in that macrocosm , Evelyn ( Michelle Yeoh ) and Deirdre ( Jamie Lee Curtis ) are a twain who go through a painful separation . In a fresh interview withVariety , Curtis reveal she and Yeoh did n’t quite get the hot dog thing and end up improvising the whole tantrum with the focus on a very peculiar inanimate target .
“ I did n’t realise much of it and I was trying to figure it out , ” Curtis suppose . “ Then we went to this curing and what happened , which was so beautiful , was Michelle and I just find this gorgeous excited place with each other . And there was no dialogue and it was written that we were breaking up in this universe , that we had hot dogs for hand … and this vista ended up becoming an improvisation about a luffa . ”

Yup , a luffa , or loufah sponge as it ’s also spell out : the easy poofy matter you might use in the exhibitioner . Curtis explain they picked it because it was an objective that did n’t have an emotion attach to it and that became the repulse force . “ The whole scene became about a sponge gourd that Deirdre was saying to Evelyn that although she corrupt the loofah in the relationship , she was leaving it because Evelyn has used it more , ” she suppose .
