TheDoom Patrolis go to have a circumstances more to patrol once the series returns for its third time of year . Not only will their greatest group of foes arrive to make their life pitiful , but some ( deceased ) fictitious character from Neil Gaiman’sSandmancomics will also be stopping by .
Comics sports fan will know the Brotherhood of Dada , a group of superpowered agents of mayhem ( they ’re not really malevolent , per se ) who have clearly been renamed the Sisterhood of Dada even though they have the same fellow member , because why the pit not ? Here are the official cast and character descriptions :
“ Micah Joe Parker will play Malcolm … He is a quiet , sensitive , and heedful soul who would often rather be invisible than face this unforgiving globe .

“ Wynn Everett will play Shelley Byron , a.k.a . The Fog … purportedly a deadly terrorist , Shelley is sorcerous , seductive , poetic , and a bit mad .
“ Miles Mussenden will play Lloyd Jefferson a.k.a . Frenzy … A sculptor of strange life - like masque who is covered with tattoos and scars , the memory and injustices that eternise his life , he is cryptic and stoic with a capacity for utmost desolation .
“ Anita Kalathara will act Holly McKenzie , a.k.a . Sleepwalk … A scant - hearted ne’er do well , Holly fuck where the best parties are . After a wild night of partying , she unremarkably takes a nice long short sleep in the ice ointment motortruck where she works , and if she is awoken mid - cat sleep , there is hell to pay .

While the names of the characters gibe up with the comics , some of the characters seem to have been either been altered for television set or the press release is just play coy . The Fog ’s ability was that he could turn into a cloud that could absorb people , but he could still pick up them in his mind . Sleepwalk was super - unassailable but only when she was slumber . The Quiz ’s power , and my favorite superpower of all fourth dimension , was “ having every superpower you have n’t believe of , ” forcing the Doom Patrol to keep naming superpowers in an effort to cease her . Frenzy is the most changed because the comics translation could release into a human cyclone , which does n’t tally with his television incarnation even slightly . Malcolm is actually a character from the 2d Brotherhood of Evil , whose super - name is Mr. ! , who “ add up as no surprise ” despite the fact his torso is a birdcage .
Both Brotherhoods were run by Mr. Nobody , played so memorably by Alan Tudykin Doom Patrol season one . If he ’s coming back to lead the Sisterhood in season three , that would be fantastic .
As for the Dead Boy Detective Agency , its members have never appeared in a Doom Patrol comic to my noesis , but they did appear in Vertigo Comics , which were briefly connected by the 1993 Children ’s Crusade crossing over event . Plus , they ’re made up of a living adolescent psychic and two drained children , so they agree into the Doom Patrol esthetic perfectly . Here they are :
“ Ty Tennant will bring Edwin Payne … Dead since 1916 , Edwin spend 80 age in blaze due to a ‘ clerical error ’ and has seen horrors no one could think .
“ Sebastian Croft will play Charles Rowland … Affable , charming , and dead since 1989 , he always does his undecomposed to be chipper , but his end by hypothermia and neglect frequent him .
“ Madalyn Horcher will play Crystal Palace … A coolheaded , sarcastic adolescent who is also a psychic medium , her only friend are Charles and Edwin , the two stagnant male child who free her from hellish possession .
I have nothing else to say about the Dead Boy Detective Agency .
Doom Patrol ’s third time of year has n’t start out filming yet , but with the addition of five raw castmembers ( the Sisterhood ) and three new guest lead ( the Agency ) , it ’s clearly getting close . Whenever it arrives , think back , it ’ll only be on HBO Max .
