Oh , oh , looks like Curiosity has just stumbled upon a glistening objective that NASA scientists consider might be a fall part of the roamer . Or it could be a while of debris that fall from the landing mechanisms . Or something else ? NASA is n’t quite trusted , so they ’ve temporarily stopped scoop the surface until they get a good sense of what it is .
From NASA’sJPL :
Curiosity ’s first scooping activity appeared to go well on Oct. 7 . afterward , the rover squad resolve to refrain from using the rover ’s robotic weapon system on Oct. 8 due to the detection of a bright object on the land that might be a piece from the roamer . rather of branch activities during the 62nd Martian day , or sol , of the commission , Curiosity is acquiring extra imaging of the object to assist the squad in key the object and assessing possible wallop , if any , to sampling bodily function .

Of course , this was a pure opportunity for theSarcasticRover(not the real@marscuriosity ) to put out a few jabs via Twitter .
