The Lightning Thief, based on Rick RiordanPercy Jacksonbook series, is set for a 16-week engagement.
It wasn’t Ella’s first red carpet either — the teen also joined her dad for the N.Y.C. premiere of the Oscar-winning documentaryFree Sololast year.
“The pair remain friendly and devoted parents to their kids,” a source previously told PEOPLE.
Stiller has a close relationship with his daughter, with Ellatelling PEOPLEearlier this year that she enjoys watching her father’s projects alongside him.

Announcing their split in 2017, Stiller and Taylor expressed their willingness to remain a happy family for their kids.
“With tremendous love and respect for each other, and the 18 years we spent together as a couple, we have made the decision to separate,” Stiller and Taylor said in ajoint statementat the time. “Our priority will continue to be raising our children as devoted parents and the closest of friends. We kindly ask that the media respect our privacy at this time.”
