The Bacarobo competition pit six awful robot against one another that come across a few basic requirement : They must be mechanically skillful , comic , and completely useless to society .
This 10 - minute TV from their 2008 backing is admittedly a bit long , but there are some real gem here and now to see , highlighted in this jury-rigged table of contentedness . The opening is pure Iron Chef absurdity , and I savour the bolded stuff the most :
