Al Pacino’s girlfriendNoor Alfallahis dishing on the earliest days of their relationship.
While speaking withVogueArabiafor a recent interview, Alfallah, 30, recalled that she and Pacino, 83, first met at a dinner in Los Angeles sometime after she began working in the film industry in the late 2010s.
“I thought it was cool. I thought, wow, that’s Al Pacino. I went to film school, so I wasn’t dumb about who he was," Alfallah told the outlet. “He’s a very talented and unique person. But I had no intention of thinking like, oh, he is going to bemy son’s father one day.”
Alfallah added that once theCOVID-19 pandemicbegan in 2020, she and Pacino began spending more time together and often watched some of his own movies.
“Al lives down the street from my house and we started spending every day together, playing chess and watching movies. It was like film school with Al Pacino," she said, remembering that he asked if she had ever seen his 1983 classicScarface.

Alfallah and Pacino have been romantically linked since April 2022 after they quietly began dating during the pandemic. The couple welcomed their son,Roman Pacino, together in June 2023.
“I guess it just became something more," she added toVogueArabia of how their friendship turned to romance.

Alfallah, whomVoguereports was born in Santa Monica and moved to Kuwait to live closer to her father’s family at age 11 and moved again to Dubai at 15, is a graduate of both University of Southern California’s Cinematic School of Arts and UCLA’s film production masters program. She remains actively working in the film industry, including on a forthcoming movie starring Pacino titledBilly Knight.

Despite some reports that Pacino and Alfallah had broken up back in September, a representative for Pacino told PEOPLE at the time that the couple “are still together” and hadmutually agreed to custody arrangementsregarding Roman.
Pacino is also a father to three adult children: he shares daughter Julie Marie with his ex-girlfriend, acting coach Jan Tarrant and shares twins Anton and Olivia with exBeverly D’Angelo.
Though Alfallah did not directly address the significant age gap between her and Pacino, she described herself as “an old soul all my life” toVogueArabia. “I have friends who are 70 years old; men and women who are just totally my friends who I love, who I’d rather be with than people my age,” she said. “I’ve always been like that. I don’t know why. I think I like the wisdom, the experience, the life in them. That’s attractive to me.”
