No , it ’s not gravity , it ’s something else . Something mystical . Something barely perceptible that is tugging at the probe with about 10 million times weaker force than sombreness . Potentially a “ new military force of nature ” ( their words , not mine ) .
Most of the obvious lawsuit , include malfunction or soberness , have been ruled out , reports theTelegraph :
Scientists ab initio distrust that gas escaping from midget rocket engine motors aboard the probes , or warmth leak from their atomic power plants might be creditworthy . Both have now been ruled out . The team says no current theories explain why the force stays constant : all the most plausible forces , from gravity to the effect of solar radiation sickness , decrease rapidly with distance .
Scientists tracking the removed probe ( now some seven billion miles from Earth ) , say that the probe ’s upper , soon 27,000 mph , is being reduced by the force by about 6 miles per hour per century . Not much , but exclusively noticeable and worthy enough that scientist like Dr. Duncan Steel , of Salford University , who is speculating this cosmic tug could question whether we know enough about gravitational attraction , the universe , and everything .
